Ipswich Town Football Club and Mitre have announced a two-year extension to their partnership that will see the British sports brand supplying the Club with its home and away kits as well as bench and training gear until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Mitre has supplied the npower Championship Club with a range of football kit for the past four years including first team kits and travel and bench tracksuits.
Mitre, established in 1817, has provided match balls for the Football League, Scottish Premier League and Carling Cup.
Simon Clegg, Ipswich Town’s chief executive said: ‘I have been impressed with the quality of Mitre’s products and their experience in the design and manufacture of sports wear is second to none. I am pleased that we have concluded a deal which will see a consolidation of the strong partnership that has built up between Mitre and the football club and the continued presence of the sports wear’s brand on our shirts.’
