UK terrestrial broadcaster ITV will continue to televise five live events on the World Snooker Tour for the next two years.
The events included in the deal are the Champion of Champions snooker invitational in addition to the World Grand Prix, Players Championship, Tour Championship, and British Open ranking.
The agreement means that the highest level of professional snooker will continue to be available on free-to-air television in the UK.
WST Chairman Steve Dawson, commented, “This new agreement with ITV is fantastic news for the sport, the players and most important the British fans, who will be able to watch these huge events on a free-to-air channel until at least the end of 2024.”
