England and Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish has signed a new boot sponsorship deal with sports manufacturer Puma.
The 27-year-old has worn Nike boots since he was a teenager, but that relationship has ended after Grealish began wearing Puma boots for the Blues in recent weeks, including against Newcastle United on Saturday 4th March, 2023.
Now that the deal has been officially announced, Puma will supply Grealish with boots and other equipment, and he will be involved in the sportswear’s brands marketing and social media campaigns.
Grealish’s current club, Manchester City, also holds a £65m-a-year technical partnership with the brand.
According to The Telegraph, Grealish’s Puma contract is the highest value boots deal for a British player of all time. England captain Harry Kane and former Wales international Gareth Bale both earn around £4m annually from their own sportswear deals.
Puma joins Grealish’s growing brand partnership portfolio, which includes Bose and Airwayz and a seven-figure agreement with Gucci.
Meanwhile, Puma adds Grealish to a roster that boasts Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and Grealish’s City teammate, Kyle Walker.
