Jaguar Signs Up To England 2018 Bid

Jaguar Land Rover has signed up to England’s 2018 FIFA World Cup bid as one of a raft of new commercial partners, showcasing the bid’s growing commercial strength.

?The agreement sees two iconic British brands, Jaguar and Land Rover, becoming official supporters of the bid.

As the official car supplier to the bid, Jaguar Land Rover will be supplying four Range Rovers, one Discovery 4 and four Jaguar XJs for the FIFA inspections – due to take place from 23rd to 26th August.

Jonathan Gregory, Director of Partnerships said: ‘Jaguar Land Rover are a fantastic addition to our sponsor family, the brands are synonymous with design, quality and excellence. They are dedicated to providing first class vehicles for our bid and we are really looking forward to working with them.’

Heathrow Airport has also agreed a deal to become an official supporter of the bid and will provide special facilities for international delegates arriving in London during the bid process as well as providing operational and planning support to the bid team.

The bid now has strong commercial backing with 5 official partners, 11 official supporters and 21 official suppliers.
