The Jacksonville Jaguars is set to offer American football fans around the UK and Europe the chance to compete in a slim-lined version of the sport, following the launch of the inaugural Jaguars Se7ens Cup that kicks off in London on 8th October.
The seven-on-seven flag football tournament will host four regional heats for the South East, Midlands/Wales, North and Scotland before a national final at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage on 5th November.
Jaguars owner Shahid Khan is also owner of Championship side Fulham FC.
The winners of the national competition will receive tickets to the Jaguars next International Series game at Wembley Stadium in 2017.
The four regional competitions will take place in London, Wimbledon Park, on 8th October; Edinburgh on 15th October; Birmingham on 22nd October and Manchester on 29th October, before the final at Craven Cottage on 5th November.

The tournament, which will have referees provided by the British American Football Association, is suitable for players age 18 and older with any experience with American football, for teams of 7-10 people.
Along with the action on the field, the Jaguars will look to create a festival atmosphere with free JagTag sessions running throughout.
The tournament is the latest phase of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ bid to boost its profile and fanbase in the UK, following its four-year commitment to play at least one home game each year from 2013. The deal has since been extended to 2020, with Jaguars facing the Indianapolis Colts in London on 2nd October.
