Jewson, the UK’s leading supplier of sustainable timber and building materials, has partnered with talkSPORT to sponsor one of the station’s most popular features, ‘Clips of the Week’.

Clips of the Week, which runs every Friday, is hosted by Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs and involves the DJs playing the funniest bloopers from the previous week on-air. Having been a part of the show’s schedule for 14 years, Andy and Paul have collected over 4,000 clips.

Last year the Clips of the Week book was published by Simon and Schuster, featuring the very best of over a decade’s worth of clips. Jewson will also sponsor the extremely popular Clips of the Week podcast.

Commenting on the deal, talkSPORT’s sales director Adam Mills said: ‘Clips of the Week is one of the biggest features on the station, and we know from our listeners that it’s a highlight of many people’s Friday afternoons. The popularity of Clips of the Week was confirmed when we published the book last year and, with its dedicated listenership, it’s the perfect feature for Jewson to sponsor.’

Natalie Bartlett, Marketing Manager at Jewson commented: ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the Clip of the Week feature as the humour and topical content found within it makes it very popular with the trade. This activity forms part of our on-going partnership with talkSPORT to offer exclusive deals and competitions to their listeners, many of which are existing Jewson customers.’
