The Jockey Club has extended its partnership with Virgin Bet, which will remain as the title sponsor for a series of major UK race days.

The online gambling platform will support six events, beginning with the Sun Chariot Day at Newmarket on 5th October, followed by Halloween Sunday at Aintree on 27th October.

In 2025, the partnership continues with the Contenders Day at Sandown and three major events at Kempton Park – the Virgin Bet Raceday after the Cheltenham Festival,

Also included are the Big Day Out, and the Easter Monday race days, which will be broadcast on ITV and Racing TV.

In addition, Virgin Bet’s safety initiative, WalkSafe, will be integrated into all sponsored events, offering racegoers the free-to-download app to enhance personal safety and route planning.

“This ongoing collaboration allows us to continue supporting and showcasing the exceptional talent of jockeys, trainers, and horses and to celebrate the rich traditions of the sport while delivering memorable experiences for racing fans,” said Dominic Vye, Marketing Director at Virgin Bet.

Daniel Glavin, Bookmaker Partnerships Manager at The Jockey Club, added, “The experience and safety for all spectators at our racecourses is a priority, so it’s fantastic to see this as part of Virgin Bet’s ‘A Good Bet’ initiatives, which aims to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all.”
