Jockey Club Services has announced a new partnership with Table Tennis England to deliver finance and accounting support for the next three years.

The Jockey Club employs a team of 18 people at its finance centre in Cheltenham offering finance and accounting support for Jockey Club Services clients and its own operations.

Since its inception Jockey Club Services has provided procurement services for 12 Football League clubs and five county cricket teams, ticketing to two county cricket teams, the Badminton Horse Trials, live music to The Ageas Bowl and has created the Rewards4Cricket Loyalty programme being initiated by Hampshire County Cricket Club and Durham County Cricket Club.

Sara Sutcliffe, CEO, Table Tennis England, said: “We have been really impressed with the professional approach of the Jockey Club Services team in offering a highly-effective finance solution for governing bodies. I’m confident their expertise and investments in transactional support and reporting are going to be of great benefit for Table Tennis England as we grow over the next few years.”

Rob Quick, director, Jockey Club Services, added: “Finance and accounting is one of the key business services Jockey Club Services is able to offer. Sara, Jonathan Bruck (head of operations) and all the team at Table Tennis England have been fantastic to work with through the initial on-boarding phase and now we have a long-term partnership to look forward to.

“The Jockey Club’s major investment in finance and accounting means the solution we are offering from one sport to another is genuinely world-class. It allows us to pass on significant economies of scale to other professional sports organisations, which will only increase as new partners come on board.”
