Britain’s top women’s tennis player, Johanna Konta, has been announced as the latest sporting ambassador for Naked, the smoothie brand from PepsiCo, ahead of the Wimbledon Championships next week.
The brand is launching a new campaign for 2018, associating Naked with an active lifestyle and the partnership with Johanna Konta further substantiates this message.
As part of the agreement Konta – the first British woman to reach the semi-finals at the Australian Open and Wimbledon since 1977 – will be backing the new Protein smoothie, highlighting the link between Naked and sports recovery.
Commenting on the appointment, Johanna Konta said: “I’m excited to be working with Naked. Obviously, I have to be very health-conscious because I’m a tennis player so it’s useful to be able to grab something healthy to drink that contains protein and antioxidants when you are on the go.”

The latest agreement adds to Konta’s existing portfolio, which last week saw her relaunch Nature Valley’s latest campaign for the summer, as the face of ‘The Court is Yours’.
