Diageo-owned whiskey brand Johnnie Walker has renewed its sponsorship deal with
the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team through until 2012.
The multi-million pound renewal contract will see the brand’s ‘Striding Man’
logo continue to adorn the McLaren F1 car while the deal also increases the
level of branding exposure that Johnnie Walker receives.
Johnnie Walker has used its sponsorship of McLaren to promote its responsible
drinking message – a corporate social responsibility programme that will
continue to play a leading part in its F1 marketing strategy.
