British heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson has entered into a partnership with Science in Sport, who will help to promote the sports nutrition brand’s ‘Go’ range of products, including an eletrolyte gel and a caffeine gel, as part of a new deal.

Science in Sport will also work individually with the 22 year old on her nutritional plan during competition and training.

Johnson-Thompson’s hopes of a heptathlon medal at the World Championships in Beijing ended in disappointment over the weekend, after failing to record a score in the long jump.

However, she will compete in the individual long jump later this week, with the qualification round taking place on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Jessica Ennis-Hill was crowned champion with heptathlon gold with a score of 6,669 points, having returned to training only last autumn following the birth of her son Reggie.
