Juventus have launched a poll to allow fans to vote for a new goal celebration song to be played inside the stadium when the team scores.

The club is changing its current music – Chelsea Dagger by Scottish rock band The Fratellis – and is working with its partner Socios to allow fans to buy Juventus Fan Tokens ($JUV) on a new mobile app and vote for a new song.

Players Aaron Ramsey and Giorgio Chiellini starred in a new spot to advertise the initiative to fans. Featuring a bar full of fans who each want to celebrate a Juventus goal with a different song, Chiellini tells supporters to go online to vote for their favourite.

Those who purchase tokens will be able to vote for one of four shortlisted songs: Blink 182’s All The Small Things; Blur’s Song 2; House of Pain’s Jump Around, and P.O.D’s Boom.

A number of the total 20,000,000 supply of $JUV has already been made available for purchase, while tokens will be sold on a first come, first served basis on the Socios website.

Giorgio Ricci, Juventus’s, Chief Revenue Officer, said: “We are proud to be the first Club to be activated by Socios.com on its platform, inaugurating a new way to interact with our fans around the world.

“This partnership shows once again how much technological evolution and innovation are two priorities for Juventus, also in the way we relate to and connect with our fan base. “
