Kane headlines Seat Unique investment round
England and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has become a shareholder in ticketing platform Seat Unique, as part of its growth in elite football.
England men’s national football team captain Kane has stated that his investment aims to improve fans’ access to high-quality live experiences as joins other notable investors, including former British and Irish Lions and Wales rugby union captain Sam Warburton OBE, England cricketers Stuart Broad and Lauren Bell, and Rugby World Cup-winning manager Sir Clive Woodward and scrum half Matt Dawson.
Investment in Seat Unique has also come from 4CAST, a fund co-founded by England Test captain Ben Stokes, as well as venture capital firm The Players Fund, which includes backing from Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and John Terry.
Established in 2019 by innovative entrepreneurs Robin Sherry and Phillipa Hicks, Seat Unique has carved a niche by providing access to premium seats and exclusive experiences for sports and music events, typically reserved for corporate clients and high-end box holders.
Seat Unique, which has partnered with several Premier League and Championship football clubs, has been expanding its presence in the UK sports market. The company has secured official partnerships to provide premium hospitality access to major sporting events, reflecting the increasing demand for exclusive fan experiences.
