Karrimor & Sports Direct Joins Bloomberg Square Mile Relay
Leading outdoor brand, Karrimor, and the UK’s number one sports retailer, Sports Direct, will be Official Partners of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay – a unique relay race taking place in the heart of the City of London.
Now in its seventh year, the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay will once again see teams of ten compete for the coveted title on Thursday 19th September, when a field of competitive City workers will criss-cross their way through the twists, turns and steps of London’s streets, tackling staircases, alleyways and racing through a shopping arcade.
Sports Direct’s involvement in this year’s Bloomberg’s Square Mile Relay is a continuation of the brand’s extensive investment in British sport. With a consistent track-record of supporting some of the biggest sporting teams and events in the industry, becoming Official Retail Partner of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay was a natural fit for a company that continues to be one of the most recognisable and popular retailers in the country.
As Official Sportswear Provider, Karrimor, a brand that has built its reputation on using cutting-edge technology to help drive performance, will be providing the Relay’s official running shirt for 2013, handed to each of more than 1,000 athletes taking on the City’s most exciting race of the year.
