Kempton Park To Sponsor Phil Taylor

In an unique sponsorship tie-up, Kempton Park racecourse has signed up to be a
commercial partner of darts champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor’.

The racecourse has agreed a contract to sponsor Taylor, who has been crowned
world champion 13 times, during his pursuit of a ninth Stan James World
Matchplay title.

The tournament starts in Blackpool on 22nd July 2007 with Phil Taylor’s first
match on the 23rd July.

Taylor will also be visiting Kempton Park on 3rd October to launch their
Winter Night series by offering racegoers the chance of playing against him in
exhibition matches after racing.
