Storey joined the club in 2019 after seven years at Derbyshire, where he oversaw the hosting of the 2017 Women’s World Cup.

Kent will begin the search for a successor next month. The team will start its County Championship Division Two campaign against Northamptonshire on 4th April.
Simon Storey said, “It is the right time now for me, and my ever-supportive family, to step aside and allow a new CEO to bring fresh perspectives, harness the skills of our board members and lead our talented and committed executive team.
“The new cricket landscape promises real opportunity and I am looking forward to being able to contribute to the future strategic development of cricket in Kent, as well as helping the board, who could not have been more supportive of my decision, in their search for my successor.”
