Kevin Pietersen has been announced as the latest speaker for the Sport Industry Breakfast Club taking place at The BT Centre on Thursday 24th September.

The cricketing legend will take to the stage at the networking event just weeks after the conclusion of a home Ashes Series, the International Twenty20 and One Day International series between England and Australia.

Pietersen, a four time Ashes winner, will discuss his record-breaking career as an international cricketer, as well as the sport’s position as a global game, his plans for the future, and the changing dynamic of fans, media and sponsors around the world as he continues to blaze a trail on the Twenty20 scene.

Renowned for taking games by the scruff of the neck, the batsman’s flamboyant strokeplay was often at the heart of many of England’s finest performances throughout a decade of international cricket. His 8,181 Test runs at 47.28 in 104 Tests had few rivals in England’s history and was the first Englishman to reach 1,000 Twenty20 runs. In 2013, he became the highest England run-scorer in all international forms of the game combined.

So far in 2015 the Sport Industry Breakfast Club has seen the likes of president of the Union Cycliste Internationale Brian Cookson; CEO of World Rugby Brett Gosper; football icon Gianluca Vialli and Aston Villa CEO Tom Fox take to the stage.

The Sport Industry Breakfast Club is the industry’s number one networking event series with four content-led networking breakfasts over the course of the year. Find out more here.
