Fans buying tickets for next summer’s International matches at the Kia Oval are being asked to tweet their seat details to the club – and receive a unique picture of the exact view from their seat.
Public tickets for England’s matches against South Africa, Australia and the West Indies are on sale from 10am on Tuesday 22nd November.
As an incentive for fans to buy their tickets during the first week of public sale, Surrey have launched an innovative Twitter based service called ‘Tweet Us Your Seat’.
Any fans buying tickets from Tuesday 22nd until Friday 25th November are invited to Tweet the details of their stand, block and seat number to the official Surrey Twitter feed @surreycricket, and in return, they will receive a picture of the exact view they will enjoy from their seat when they arrive at the Kia Oval for a day’s cricket next summer.
Alternatively, users should simply adopt the hashtag #tweetusyourseat, which will be followed by the club all week.
There is also a chance that Surrey’s England stars – Kevin Pietersen, Chris Tremlett, Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker – could be snapped trying out the seat.
England’s first International match at the Kia Oval next summer will be a NatWest One Day International against the West Indies on Tuesday 19th June.
They play another NatWest Series game – against Australia – on Sunday 1st July before a Test Match against the number two side in the world South Africa from 19th to 23rd July.
The final International of the year will be a NatWest Series One Day International against South Africa on Friday 31st August.
To buy tickets for the games, visit kiaoval.com/tickets from 10am or call 0844 3251845.
