Kia Motors has signed a deal to sponsor The Sun’s World Cup competition campaign fronted by former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.
The competition, created by digital agency Glue, runs over six weeks – with Wright and The Sun to pick a ‘squad’ of 11 winners to go to South Africa to see England play in this summers’ World Cup in South Africa.
Glue has created TV adverts to be shown around football fixtures in February and March.
They have also set up a dedicated website as well as online banners and videos to push the campaign.
Kia Motors is one of the sponsors of the official sponsors of 2010 World Cup and last week announced it was teaming up with News Corp media brands to create a joint platform for fans to engage with the tournament in a £1.5m deal.
