Konica Minolta Signs UK Athletics Deal
Konica Minolta Business Solutions has signed a multi-year deal to become an official supplier of UK Athletics, the contract running through until September 2013.
The agreement, which takes in UK Athletics’ participation in the London Olympics to be held in 2012, will see Konica Minolta support UK Athletics at six televised athletics events a year, three indoor and three outdoor.
The new deal commences with the Aviva International Match to be held in Glasgow at the end of January 2009, with coverage on BBC1 and BBC2. The Konica Minolta logo will be clearly visible at the finish line of all events, as well as trackside.
At the events Konica Minolta will supply UK Athletics with the latest high-speed bizhub multifunctionals for copying, printing, scanning and faxing. Konica Minolta bizhub document imaging systems will be provided both at event venues and also at the hotels used by UK Athletics.
