The inaugural Korean F1 Grand Prix could be called off due to
incomplete construction on the new track, according to media
speculation.

Reports say that the circuit, still under construction in Yeongam, about 400kms south of the capital Seoul, may not be completed on schedule to host its debut race this year at the end of October.

F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone has reportedly travelled to South Korea to decide whether the track could be completed on time or reduce the schedule to 18 races.

However, tickets for the race on the 24th October are already on sale and a possible outcome could be to postpone the race for a year.
