Ladbrokes Agrees Masters Deal

Ladbrokes mobile has struck a commercial deal with World snooker to become a sponsor of The Masters tournament being held this month at Wembley.??

The deal sees Ladbrokes Mobile providing the tournament with a prize pot of £500,000 as the world’s top 16 players compete in the game’s most prestigious event.??

The betting firm will also have branding opportunities throughout the tournament, which gets underway on 9th January.??

World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: ‘We are delighted to continue our long and successful partnership with Ladbrokes with this sponsorship.’??

Hearn, who was handed control of World Snooker just over a year ago,  has pledged that the game’s overall prize money would increase by £1m in 2010/11 to £4.5m.
