Bookmakers Ladbrokes has launched its largest ever marketing campaign ahead of the World Cup in South Africa this month.
The £5m marketing campaign, created by M&C Saatchi, stars ex-footballers Ian Wright and Chris Kamara in a TV advert.
The spot featured people blurting out their betting decision in inappropriate places and concludes with the strap line ‘Got the feeling? Get to Ladbrokes’.
Kamara and Wright also feature in an alternative spot – discussing England’s chances at the World Cup.
The bookmaker also claims that the amount spent on betting during this year’s World Cup is expected to increase on the £500m staked on the 2006 tournament due to in-play betting and online activity.
