Lampard Gets His Own Mobile TV Channel

Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has become the first footballer to
launch his own TV channel, implemented through the player’s sponsorship deal
with mobile phone brand Orange.

Frank TV is now available to all Orange’s 1.3m 3G customers on their handsets
through the Orange TV platform.

The first instalment on the channel will be a 50-minute programme filmed by
the midfielder on his 3G mobile phone over the past year.

The channel’s content will feature a variety of video footage showing Lampard
at home, with team-mates and on the training ground.

The concept for Frank TV was developed by Orange and incumbent sports
marketing agency M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment.
