Lancashire Cricket have extended their partnership with Hilton for a further year, taking the collaboration into its 10th year.
The renewal has seen official hotel partner Hilton remain as the front of shirt sponsors for Lancashire Men in the Rothesay County Championship and for Lancashire Women across all competitions in 2025. This comes as the women’s side plays their first season in the new Tier One domestic structure this summer, having won their first professional trophy earlier this year by lifting the T20 Women’s County Cup Final.
Hilton was also the headline partner for Lancashire Cricket’s Pre-Season Tour to Dubai and India for both the Men’s and Women’s first team squads for a fourth consecutive year. To celebrate the 10th year anniversary, Lancashire Cricket will launch the ‘Hilton Honors Board’, a social media campaign reflecting on the top 10 moments from the decade-long partnership.
The partnership has included significant development at Emirates Old Trafford, with work completed last year to extend the on-site Hilton Garden Inn Manchester by a further 100 bedrooms, bringing the total occupancy to 250 bedrooms. Hilton has also supported the development of Lancashire Women, committing funding for four player contracts and collaborating on the No Boundaries campaign, which created education and support packages for female athletes.
Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive, Lancashire Cricket, said, “We are extremely proud to extend our flagship partnership with Hilton into another year, and we are looking forward to working closely once again throughout 2025, as we celebrate ten years of partnership together. “Hilton’s support has played an invaluable role during the redevelopment process of Emirates Old Trafford over the last decade, and we are now thrilled to be operating a successful 250-bedroom hotel on-site year-round at our venue. “Hilton have been long-term supporters of our men’s side – having been front of shirt sponsors since 2015 – while their support of Lancashire Thunder over the last few years has been transformational.”
Stijn Bastiaens, Vice President Marketing and Loyalty, EMEA, Hilton, said, “We are proud to enter the 10th year of partnership with Lancashire Cricket, continuing our support of both the Men’s and Women’s teams. “Hilton has a longstanding history with both elite and grassroots sports teams, including providing some of the world’s greatest athletes with memorable stays. To celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the partnership, Lancashire Cricket will sift through the archives to launch a social media campaign reflecting the top 10 moments throughout our decade of working together. “We look forward to another successful year of partnership with Lancashire Cricket, showing that when you play elite sports, it matters where you stay.”
