Leicester City (LCFC) have published their annual accounts for the period ending June 2024, revealing a pre-tax loss of £19.4m
This figure compares favourably to the £89.5m loss recorded to 30th June 2023, which covered a 13-month period due to a change in year-end alignment.
The club’s turnover fell to £105.3m from £177.3m in the previous year, impacted by their absence from the Premier League. Broadcast rights revenue decreased to £54.2m, and sponsorship revenue fell to £21.5m. However, gate receipts remained steady at £18.4m, and other commercial revenues increased to £9.8m.
The accounts also reflect ongoing investment in LCFC Women, who secured a fourth successive season in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, Chairman, has invested over £420, in the club since 2010, including a recent debt-to-equity conversion in January 2025.
Susan Whelan, Leicester City Chief Executive, said, “Operating outside of the Premier League during the 2023/24 season required some obvious adjustments compared with previous years. However, we achieved success on the pitch and attained promotion and the Championship title at the end of the season.”
