Following his record-breaking win at this year’s British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton has been unveiled as a global brand ambassador for CFI.
As part of the agreement, which was negotiated by the agency Sportfive, the online trading broker will make a donation to the seven-time Formula 1 world champion’s charitable foundation, Mission 44.
According to a statement, ‘partnering with Lewis Hamilton and making a commitment to Mission 44 reinforces CFI’s dedication to excellence and innovation in trading’ while the Merecedes driver’s sporting achievements ‘align perfectly with CFI’s mission to provide traders worldwide with unparalleled access to global financial markets, along with the necessary tools and support to excel.’
In signing with CFI, Hamilton joins a sport sponsorship portfolio that includes the likes of AC Milan, the FIBA West Asia Super League and the Jordan Football Association.
Hamilton, who will move from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025, is one of the highest earning athletes in the world and holds existing agreements with Sony, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma and IWC among others.
