LG Electronics has partnered with talkSPORT radio station to sponsor its all-talk Formula One radio show.
The half-hour radio show, featuring former Ferrari Formula One driver Eddie Irvine, plans to allow fans to call in and share their views on the sport.
It will run throughout the race season starting from this weekend’s race in Malaysia, with eighteen shows set to start at 8pm on Sundays following each race.
LG is a global partner and technology partner of Formula 1 and has marketing rights as the official consumer of electronics, mobile phones, data processors and flat TV’s of the sport.
The deal was brokered by Mindshare on behalf of LG and it will co-develop the programme with talkSPORT.
The show will receive supporting promotion on the breakfast and drive time shows on talkSPORT, as well as a partnership with Sport magazine to create complimentary material to support their Formula One content and promote talkSPORT’s new show.
Irvine, who raced in 147 Grand Prix, will present the ‘LG Grand Prix show’ alongside talkSPORT regular Andy Goldstein.
