Line-up Named For NFL Wembley Game
A sizeable entertainment line-up has been announced for the Bridgestone International Series NFL game between the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints at Wembley Stadium.
A programme of entertainment has been unveiled for the game on Sunday 26th October with performances by a number of British music artists, a big half-time show and a parade.
Welsh band Stereophonics will headline a pre-game concert with their live set to include their hit single ‘Dakota’, which made number one in the UK charts in 2005, as well as their latest song ‘You’re My Star’.
English singer and BRIT Award-winner Joss Stone will follow the Stereophonics, performing the UK national anthem.
As is tradition with the NFL, a big half-time show is planned with a Mardi-Gras style parade of custom-made floats making its way through the stadium in a tribute to ‘home’ team New Orleans followed by performances by some of the city’s bands and musicians.
