Digital content agency and media network Little Dot Studios has announced the appointment of Ed Turner to the newly-created role of Director of Media.

Joining from COPA90, where he was most recently Chief Media Officer, Turner previously spent six years at sports marketing agency Engine, with his last role as Executive Director, where he created and led Engine Media in the UK.

At Little Dot Studios, Turner will be tasked with managing the agency’s brand partners, aiming to grow their online audiences through digital media planning and buying. He will also work with media sales teams around the world to package and support the growth of direct monetisation of the channel network across social media and AVOD OTT platforms.

Turner starts with immediate effect, and reports to Little Dot Studios Chief Business Officer Holly Graham.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Ed to Little Dot Studios,” said Graham.

“His media buying expertise will help our partners prioritise long-term growth alongside short-term gains. Having worked at both agencies and digital publishers, Ed has incredibly rich and varied experience, but always with one key focus: finding a valuable and engaged audience.

“We’re very excited about what his expertise and vision will bring to Little Dot Studios’ partners.”

Turner added: “I am thrilled to be joining Little Dot Studios as it embarks on its next, exciting period of growth. Little Dot has built a phenomenal name globally around storytelling, creating meaningful content experiences and reaching audiences that matter.

“The opportunity to develop and grow the media function is immense. Media at Little Dot is about genuine engagement and driving business outcomes for its clients. Performance comes as much from the message and content as it does the science of delivery which is why Little Dot is in such a unique position to drive market-beating outcomes for clients.”

Little Dot Studios, All3Media’s digital business, recently launched a new Consumer Brand division to run alongside its other specialisms in Entertainment and Sport.

In April 2021, the company also announced John Holdridge, former General Manager, US entertainment company Fullscreen, as Managing Director for the USA.
