Liverpool has announced Nike as its new official kit supplier starting 1st June 2020.
The European champions won a court case against current manufacturer New Balance in late 2019 which left them free to sign with a new sponsor, which was heavily rumoured to be Nike. The club has now confirmed that it will indeed sign with the American sportswear giant and wear its logo after the end of the 2019/20 season.
The deal will be effective from 1st June 2020 will now see Nike manufacture and supply Liverpool’s playing, training and travel wear for the men’s, women’s and academy squads, as well as coaching staff and Liverpool FC Foundation.
New Balance, meanwhile, will remain the club’s Official Kit Supplier until the end of the 2019/20 season, having initially signed a four year deal in 2015.
