Liverpool have agreed a multi-year partnership with adidas, which has been confirmed as the club’s official kit supplier from next season.

Replacing the Red’s current partner, Nike, the new deal marks the third time Liverpool FC will have worn adidas kits, following previous partnerships from 1985 to 1996 and 2006 to 2012.

The agreement includes match kits, training wear, and lifestyle apparel for the men’s, women’s, and academy teams, as well as staff from the LFC Foundation.

The return of adidas comes as Liverpool continues to compete at the top of English and European football, with its women’s team recently securing a return to the FA Women’s Super League and the men’s team contending for domestic and European trophies.

Billy Hogan, Chief Executive Officer at LFC, said, “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time.

“adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success and we couldn’t be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on-pitch performance. We’d like to thank Nike for their support over the last five years and wish them well for the future.”

This news comes after Liverpool recently reported a pre-tax loss of £57m for the financial year ending May 31, 2024, an increase of £48m from the previous year.

The partnership with adidas follows a series of commercial agreements aimed at strengthening the club’s financial position. Details of the new home and away kits will be released in the coming months.
