Premier League side Liverpool FC have entered into a global partnership with online communications service Skype, bringing fans more innovative ways to engage with each other and the club.
The official account on Skype, LFCofficial, which can be used by fans to interact with each other in group chats during games, will also offer users exclusive content from first-team players and chances to win signed merchandise.
The launch of the partnership was marked by the release of a range of club-themed emoticons which will be available on Skype for fans to use during chats, which include emoticons wearing an LFC scarf with their fingers crossed, thumbs up and covering eyes. The first set will also include mini versions of the manager, Jürgen Klopp, captain Jordan Henderson and teammates Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.
