British Cycling has announced that the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women will be broadcast live by BBC Sport as part of its Women’s Summer of Sport.

The four-day event, which takes place from 5th June to 8th June 2025, will feature extensive coverage across BBC Sport platforms.

Live coverage of the race has been confirmed for the BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website, and the BBC Sport app. Content will also be shared across the BBC Sport social media channels.

This year’s race has attracted a record number of teams, with 19 squads set to compete on the roads of Britain.

Notable riders expected to participate include current European champion Lorena Wiebes, double 2024 Olympic gold medallist Kristen Faulkner, and former race winner and world champion, the UK’s Lizzie Deignan.

Additional coverage of the event will be available via WarnerBros. Discovery+, offering a digital-only live stream. Daily highlights will also be shown on TNT channels and digital platforms, including the TNT red button.

British Cycling has also confirmed enhanced digital coverage for 2025. A new, dedicated Lloyds Tour of Britain TikTok channel has been launched to engage a wider, younger audience.

Further race content will be available on the event’s YouTube channel, and fans can receive daily updates by subscribing to a dedicated newsletter.

Following the Glasgow stage, a free Lloyds Tour of Britain Family Cycling Festival will take place, allowing fans and cyclists to ride on the closed road circuit.

Jonathan Day, Managing Director of British Cycling Events, said, “We are really pleased that the BBC will broadcast the Lloyds Tour of Britain women during a huge summer of sport for women.

“The event is breaking records this year with the number of teams riding across the four stages, so it is brilliant news that the races will be available across BBC Sport’s platforms, allowing the British public to follow the action from this sporting spectacle.”
