London City Lionesses have announced a landmark front-of-kit partnership with the media and commerce company TOGETHXR.

The collaboration marks the first time a women-athlete-led company will feature on the front of a professional women’s sports team’s kit. The new shirt will be emblazoned with TOGETHXR’s ‘Everyone Watches Women’s Sports™’message.

The kit will debut on Saturday, 6th September, when the Lionesses face Arsenal in their Barclays Women’s Super League opener at the Emirates Stadium.

The partnership unites London City, the Barclays Women’s Super League’s only independent club, with TOGETHXR, which was co-founded by athletes Alex Morgan, Sue Bird, Simone Manuel, and Chloe Kim. Both organisations share a stated mission to drive visibility and elevate women’s football.

Michele Kang, owner of London City Lionesses, said, “London City Lionesses was founded to reimagine women’s football – to be bold, independent, and drive women’s football forward. Our partnership with TOGETHXR reflects that same goal and allows us to do it at pace! Seeing Everyone Watches Women’s Sports™ on our kit is a powerful statement and we look forward to starting influential conversations that progress women’s sport.”

Alex Morgan, Co-Founder of TOGETHXR, said, “We’re joining forces to reaffirm that the future of women’s sports is here; it’s global, and it’s inevitable. London City Lionesses was born to disrupt football, and TOGETHXR was born to disrupt sports media. As both make global statements, we’re driving fandom, storytelling, and revenue.”
