London Irish Rugby Club and Australian-based technical sports apparel provider, ISC, have today announced a record four-year partnership – which will provide the Reading-based club with playing and training kit, and a range of leisurewear for the club’s senior and academy teams.

ISC will also design and manufacture a range of replica products for the club’s supporters worldwide.

The deal is the largest in London Irish’s history and is also ISC’s largest commercial contract in Europe – which could provide the company with a platform to raise its profile across Europe.

Richard Marsh, London Irish commercial director said: ‘Our objectives were to secure a kit partner with brand ambitions that mirror our own, to ensure we have the best technical kit for performance, create opportunities to explore new territories and marketing initiatives, and provide retail product that our supporters want’.

‘A bespoke playing, training and leisure range aligned with a new in-house retail arrangement, which will be in place for next season, will enable London Irish to fully capitalise on the current strength of its brand and profile and allow the Club to grow locally, nationally and globally’.

ISC celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and is currently work with teams in rugby league, rugby union, aussie rules and football.

Brett Corrick, ISC’s chief executive said: ‘This is a highly significant and exciting partnership for ISC. Aligning ISC with a club with the prestige of London Irish demonstrates our commitment to the continual growth of the ISC brand in both the UK as well as the game of rugby union’.
