London Marathon Races To Extension
London Marathon Events (LME) has extended its long-running partnership with Sports Tours International.
The renewal, which was agreed before the TCS London Marathon 2023 on 23rd April, sees Sports Tours International retained as the exclusive international travel partner for the annual race.
The Manchester-based business coordinates entry, accommodation, and comprehensive logistical support for mass participation sporting events.
LME claimed that the agreement to extend followed a ‘competitive tender process’.
Brian Greenwood, Commercial Director of London Marathon Events, said, “Sports Tours International has proved itself to be the right partner to deliver our international participants, with a successful track record in delivering this programme. We are delighted to be able to continue our partnership for the next three years.”
Sports Tours International’s Chief Operating Officer, Tim Przybysz, added, “Sports Tours International is incredibly proud of its relationship with London Marathon Events and we are delighted to be able to continue this partnership and manage the International Tour Operator Programme for the TCS London Marathon for the next three years.
“We have provided this service for more than 40 years and we look forward to building on the hard work that has taken place in developing relationships with other international tour companies throughout the world.”
