London Welsh Signs Away Day Partnership
London Welsh has agreed a new partnership with Venatour to become its official travel partner, as the Aviva Premiership club prepares itself for three away fixtures in this season’s European Rugby Challenge Cup.
Venatour, founded by former Bath and England player Gareth Chilcott, will work with the club to provide travel deals for fans during the 2014/15 season.
Chilcott said of the appointment: ‘Venatour has a wide range of touring options as its disposal which we can use to assist the club, its members and its supporters in many ways, and we look forward to working with London Welsh over the remainder of the season.’
London Welsh will travel to Scotland and France in the group stages after being drawn against Edinburgh, Bordeaux Bègles and Lyon in pool four of the inugural European Rugby Challenge Cup.
The competition is replacing the European Challenge Cup as the continent’s second tier club rugby tournament this season, set to kick off next month.
