The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the governing body for British tennis, has confirmed a new partnership with Prezzo, which sees the Italian restaurant brand become the LTA’s official competition restaurant partner.
Under terms of the agreement, Prezzo will serve an exclusive set menu for LTA members to enjoy before, during and after competitions and as part of local tennis venues social activities.
Additionally, Prezzo will be engaged in both digital and physical exposure through the LTA and its network, getting involved with the local community of tennis players and venues, providing them with a place to celebrate during competitions and restaurant vouchers.
Scott Lloyd, LTA Chief Executive, added, “The LTA has an enhanced year-round competitions calendar, which plays an important role in supporting players and we’re really excited about working with Prezzo and showcasing their restaurants to our tennis community. With dedicated ‘always-on’ brand activity, our integrated partnership will drive awareness of our shared family ethos and reach an active and engaged audience.”
Newly promoted Premier League club AFC Bournemouth has announced a renewed partnership with Poole-based financial firm MSP Capital for the season.
MSP Capital, which was the front-of-shirt sponsor for the club’s two most recent seasons in the Sky Bet Championship, has a new agreement that means the brand will no longer appear on the playing shirts, but will remain prominent around the first team, appearing on the front of the men’s training wear, staff training wear and the matchday warm up range.
Commercial director Rob Mitchell said, “It was a pleasure to be partnered with MSP Capital during our two years in the Championship and we’re delighted to continue that relationship. We’re pleased to offer MSP assistance with their company goals of supporting growth and visibility for their specific target markets.”
British gaming culture brand EXCEL ESPORTS has announced the appointment of Shahin Rasti as the new Head of Partnerships. Shahin moves into esports having previously worked at sport and entertainment agency – Fuse. In his new role, Shashin will support EXCEL’s existing set of partners, bringing on new commercial partners as well as continuing to grow the organisation’s partnerships team.
