The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has launched the first-ever LTA Padel National Championships.
The new flagship event will serve as the pinnacle of the domestic LTA Padel Tour, crowning the British men’s and women’s national champions.
The tournament will be hosted at the largest indoor padel centre in the UK. The championships aim to showcase the rapid growth of the sport across the country and provide a competitive focus for elite players.
Tom Gibbins, Padel Performance Manager, LTA, said, “We are thrilled to announce the inaugural LTA Padel National Championships. This event represents a significant milestone for the sport in Great Britain and will provide a fantastic platform for our top players to compete for the national title. Holding it at a world-class venue like Rocket Padel in Bristol will ensure a brilliant experience for both players and fans.”
Sebastian Gordillo, Founder of Rocket Padel, said, “It is an honour for Rocket Padel Bristol to be chosen as the host venue for the very first LTA Padel National Championships. We have worked hard to create a premier facility for the padel community, and we look forward to welcoming the country’s best players and showcasing the excitement of this fantastic sport.”
