LTA Signs New Digital Technology Partner

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has announced that it has agreed an official partnership with Wipro Digital, a global information technology, consulting and business process services company, as its official digital technology services partner for the next three years.

As part of the new agreement, Wipro will consult the LTA on strategy, design and technology before implementing a new IT and digital roadmap in order to help fulfil the governing body’s aim of boosting participation levels in the sport.

Commenting on the partnership, Rajan Kohli, global head of Wipro Digital said: “We are delighted to be associated with the LTA and the exciting sport of tennis.  There is no doubt that our association with one of tennis’s foremost governing bodies will be highly rewarding. In addition, we are confident that our unique ‘Customer Journey Engineering’ methodology will enable the LTA to deliver on its mission of redefining and reimagining the future of British Tennis.”   

Michael Downey, chief executive of the LTA added: “We are thrilled that Wipro has joined our family of partners to transform our ability to use technology in connecting all areas of British Tennis. Wipro’s expertise in IT and Digital solutions will allow all areas of British Tennis to better support our mission of getting more people playing tennis more often.”
