Mahomes Thanks Chiefs Fans As He Signs Half Billion Dollar Contract

Patrick Mahomes has become the first half-billion dollar American football player, after signing a 10-year, $503m contract with Kansas City Chiefs – the largest contract in professional American sport.

The 24-year old still has two years left on his existing contract, and so the new deal will keep him at the team until he is 36.

In a new video posted on his social media channels, Mahomes sent a message to the Chiefs Kingdom – the team’s staff, players and fans – to thank them for their support and send a message that the current Super Bowl champions are ‘chasing a dynasty’.
