Cash-rich Premier League club Manchester City will open a new venture as it launches a new flagship shop in the centre of Manchester.??

The club has partnered with specialist retailer Kitbag who will run the store in Market Street, replacing the existing shop in Arndale Centre.??

The club has revamped its marketing team recently with the appointement of Ian Cafferky as marketing chief.??

The new shop will be pushed in the lead up to Christmas with a new advertising campaign that will feature outdoor banners.??

The club’s rise in fortunes on and off the pitch since being purchased by Sheikh Mansour has been documented by a film that was released earlier this year in cinemas across the UK called ‘Blue Moon Rising’.
