Man City Stars Join The New York Movement
Players of Manchester City Football Club are starring in a new viral video shot during their time in New York in the close season to support the launch of New York City Football Club, set to become Major League Soccer’s 20th team from 2015.
The recently formed East Coast club is a partnership between Manchester City Football Club and the famous New York Yankees baseball team, launched earlier this year.
In the new viral, fans are being asked to join the movement at www.nycfc.com/jointhemovement and win the signed ball that features in the video, plus a weekend trip to the Big Apple, including flights, accommodation and two tickets to New York City Football Club’s first-ever home game.
The unique feature video stars Manchester City players including Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, Joe Hart, David Silva, Gael Clichy, James Milner and Matija Nastasic.
The feature sees the City players take part in a pass and move game around the city, spanning iconic New York locations including Brooklyn Bridge Park, Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, Manhattan Highline and Rucker Park in Harlem.
