Manchester City has signed a multi-year partnership with Italian fashion and sportswear brand C.P. Company.

The deal takes effect from the 2024/25 season, and designates the designer label as the official style fashionwear partner of the men’s team.

The Bologna-based brand will design an apparel collection for the reigning Premier League champions, which will be worn exclusively by players, coaching staff and club executives when the team travels for away matches, including Champions League fixtures.

C.P. Company will also support City in the Community’s Healthy Goals programme, which will see the renovation of three community and school football pitches.

The new partnership signifies the latest agreement between a fashion brand and an elite European football club. Italian giant AC Milan currently has an agreement with Off-White, which has outfitted the club’s players for the Rosseneri’s away Champions League games. The club’s neighbour, Inter Milan, has a formal-wear deal with fellow Italian fashion brand Moncler.

Meanwhile, 15-time Champions League winner Real Madrid has a travel-wear partnership with Italian luxury fashion house Zegna, having previously partnered with German brand Hugo Boss.

“Our partnership represents an exciting journey from Bologna to Manchester, where two visions, inspired by the same values, harmoniously merge,” said Lorenzo Osti, President of C.P. Company.

“The aesthetic symbolism of the C.P. Company goggle jacket has become an icon for football fans, a project where sporting aspiration embraces and keeps its roots alive.”

Kaitlyn Beale, Vice President of Global Partnership Sales at City Football Group, added, “Both Manchester City and the Italian brand play a key role in football culture in the UK and beyond, with passionate followers and a shared commitment to embracing new trends and innovation.

“We’re looking forward to working with C.P. Company over the coming seasons.”
