Premier League side Manchester United has announced a quarterly profit of £18.6m, with a total revenue of £133.8m.
The latest figures represent a 26.6% increase on the same period last year, as the club is set to become the first to earn more than £500m in one year.
Commercial revenues were also up 42.5% to £66.1m for the Manchester outfit in the second quarter figures released.
The fifth placed side saw broadcast revenue rise 31.3% to £37.3m whilst sponsorship revenue was up to £1.6m, but were 1.6% down on match day income.
United vice-chairman Ed Woodward said: “Our strong commitment to investing in our squad, youth academy and the broader club are ultimately underpinned by our financial strength and the hard work and dedication of everyone at the club.
“Our solid results off the pitch help contribute to what remains our number one priority – success on the pitch.”
