Manor Racing has teamed up with Deliveroo for the final edition of this season’s ‘Fast Companies Series’, at the 2016 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Deliveroo is a food delivery service that brings local restaurant food to homes and offices though a proprietary technology and logistics platform. For the UAE market, the start-up has brought over 600 of Dubai’s top restaurants on to its platform.

To celebrate this partnership, Deliveroo riders will hit the streets of Dubai with bespoke Manor Racing branding on their helmets and one Deliveroo rider will also gain behind the scenes access at the race weekend. Additionally, a discount of AED30 will be offered to customers on every first order.

Deliveroo branding will also feature on the rear wings of the Manor Racing cars at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Leonard Picardo, director of international marketing, Delivero said: “Deliveroo partnering with Manor Racing is a wonderful opportunity for our brand. Manor Racing is the right team to engage with our customers in the UAE and beyond this weekend, as both businesses share the desire for innovation with the focus on speed.”

Anis Harb, general manager at Deliveroo GCC added: “Deliveroo is driving growth in Dubai by focusing on our main objective: speed. Our focus is and always will be delivering great food, fast. Our two brands share a passion for disrupting the status quo and the timing is perfect for a fast-paced and energetic display of teamwork and synergy with Manor Racing at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In the spirit of this race, Deliveroo has added racing stripes and Manor Racing decals to our drivers’ helmets.

Simon Pavitt, marketing director, Manor Racing commented: “We at Manor Racing take great pride in working with partners that share our challenger mindset. We want to shine a spotlight onto some of the most entrepreneurial brands which are shaping the future and Deliveroo is doing just that as the 2.0 delivery service. This partnership is the perfect example of two home-grown British brands looking to new heights and teaming up to take on the world and compete on an international level.”
