David Beckham and Sheikh Mansour have topped the FourFourTwo.com Football Rich List taking the top spots in the player and owner categories respectively.
??Beckham still leads the richest players list, despite his fortune slipping from £125m to £100m and he drops ten places from 38th to 48th in the overall Football Rich List.?
?Owner of Manchester City, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has taken the top spot in the overall list with a fortune of £20bn, displacing QPR’s owner Lakshmi Mittal, who is worth £17bn.?
?There is a further drop in the list for Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich who lies in fourth position with a reduced fortune of £7.4bn down from £7.8bn.?
?Southampton’s owners, the Liebherr Family, lie in 5th in the overall rich list with a fortune of £3bn.?
?England manager Fabio Capello tops the manager’s rich list with a total of £36m, £8m more than surprise second entrant Roy Keane.?
?The list also suggest that Wayne Rooney’s problems off the pitch has effected his wealth as it has been estimated at £25m, down from last year’s £37m, meaning he falls from 65th to 89th overall. ?
?In the players list Rooney has also fallen, behind Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell and Ryan Giggs, whilst Michael Owen is in second place with a fortune of £40m.?
?Overall there are fifteen billionaires present and the Rich Listers are 11.6% up than a year ago and the value of the entire list is worth £77bn – four times the value of the Italian or Spanish leagues.
