UEFA has appointed direct marketing and retail agency The Marketing Store to
supply official merchandise for the 2008 European Championships to be staged in
Austria and Switzerland.

The Marketing Store, which picked up the account following a competitive
pitch, has been tasked to create an online catalogue from which sponsors will be
able to choose promotional merchandise to market to the general public.

The tournament has 10 official sponsors – Castrol, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola,
Continental, Hyundai-Kia, JVC, MasterCard, McDonald’s and adidas.

Separately, IMG has picked up the corporate hospitality account for Euro
2008, acting as UEFA’s official worldwide sales agent for the tournament.

IMG picked up the business following a year-long pitch process involving 20
agencies across Europe.
