Rugby on the Green has signed luxury Italian car manufacturer Maserati as its new title partner, with the outdoor rugby festival now known as “Rugby on the Green powered by Maserati”.

As title partner, Maserati will be showcasing a number of the brand’s models in a dedicated experiential zone at the sports festival.

James Cowan, Maserati GB marketing manager, said: “We are excited to be part of the celebrations taking place across London this autumn. Rugby on the Green offers a premium event experience in one of London’s most exclusive districts; and we are looking forward to introducing our products to London’s devoted rugby fans.”

Maserati is the latest brand to join Rugby on the Green powered by Maserati’s list of supporting partners and associations including The Times+, Dallaglio Foundation, Quintessentially and Fatboy.

The event is a ticket-only festival in SW6, consisting of a day of live entertainment, supported by the upcoming rugby action on a number of large 18msq LED screens.

Robert Barry, co-founder at Rugby on the Green, commented: “We are delighted to welcome on board a truly prestigious brand as our title partner. Rugby on the Green powered by Maserati will offer guests an opportunity to get a first-hand experience of some of the most treasured luxury sports cars on the market, while providing SW6 residents with an equally prestigious platform to enjoy rugby’s most anticipated event in style.”

Rugby on the Green Powered By Maserati is working in close partnership with the Dallaglio Foundation supporting their Rugby-Works programme 2015.

Rachel Roxburgh, CEO of the Dallaglio Foundation, added: “Rugby on the Green Powered By Maserati provides us with the perfect opportunity to engage with the fun loving rugby community of SW6 and has acted to inspire and support disengaged people from all backgrounds.”
